Ectospasms is a collaboration in-progress between Lola Lola Dance Theatre and The Institute for the Study of Performance & Spirituality.  

This dance theatre work can be adapted and developed for many situations, ranging from a media/peformance installation to a site-specific performance to a traditional theatrical venue.  Performances can be accompanied by a wide range of educational workshops in theatre, movement and creative process.

1848.  The dead contact the Fox sisters of Hydesville NY and Spiritualism is born.

Trance-driven mediums and disembodied spirits move within a supernatural soundscape, illuminated by textures of light and otherworldly projections in this multi-media dance theatre piece.
